The lady herself describes the album as "darker, moodier, deeper, more mature" and as Marilyn Manson was her influence for some of the tracks we can certainly believe her!

Canadian songstress Avril Lavigne is to embark on a promotional tour of malls across the US to introduce her latest album Under My Skin due out May 25th. Ms Lavigne will perform a couple of tracks in an acoustic set as a taster for what is to come.

Hightlight of this year's Radio Music Awards was undoubtedly Beyonce Knowles performing her latest single Baby Boy in a ring of fire. The ceremony, held in the Aladdin Hotel Las Vegas, featured performances from different musical styles including rock, country and alternative. Avril Lavigne, nominated for 5 awards walked off with Best Song for Complicated and also performed at the ceremony.
